My main purpose when I went to the Classic this year ( first time ever for me ) was to learn to make a self bow. I was doing just fine till I took a break that first night and went to watch the guys in the rock pit. I found myself asking a few questions, the next thing I knew I had a small stone in my hand from the pit floor and a pressure flaker a new friend Patrick loaned me. He had told me before the night was over I could have a workable point. But he also warned me if I ever started knapping, to forget the bows, I would not want to do anything else. Well 3 weeks later I'm still scraping on that first bow some. But here are some of my points after never knowing anything about knapping, then going to the Tenn. Classic. Hope you like.

Dang! I was the same way at the Classic! I've been building bows for 7 years now and have to finish up one more before I start school next week. I'm just now getting back to work on it after knapping for days. ;D I don't have as much to show for it. Good work man!

Welcome to the addiction >:D I had every intention of finishing a bow at the classic 5 years ago but couldn't keep the knapping tools in the car too long. Looks like you doing some very nice work!

Real nice points, Maybe us knappers need to post a warning sign. WARNING KNAPPING CAN BE HAZARDOUS TO BOWBUILDING. :o ;D
