Very good lookin' points. Funny, with different regions, we see people knapping rock that we wish we had.....The rock is always greener on the other hill....

You know, you could turn that "bent up thing" into one of those snakey things pretty easily. I like it like it is anyway.

Very nice knapping there.  On the larger point did you use a punch nail or hand held pressue flaker?

David'I start my notches with a pressure flake then  when I get in about 1/4" I'll start using a punch

Very nice points for sure.  I havent ever used a punch but saw it sone this weekend and was very impressed with the notches he was able to put in the point.  Going to have to build me a punch and give it a whirl  8)

Bonepile where do you go out in the gulf?  I go down to Steinhatchee several times a year.  Prolly be back down there July 4th weekend.  I was hoping to locate some coral on one of my trips

The only place you will find it near Steinhatchee is in the Suwannee and Withlacoochie Rivers up in that part of Florida. We're 5-6 hours south of you.

Rog, maybe that water will haul butt under Elijah's tree and wash up some more ledge. ;D

Roger, great lookin points, looks like ya got that punch notching down pat. Speaking of moving material we been getting hammered with rain up here an my driveway is all piled up at the bottom of the hill :(. I actually found a broken celt and the tip of a blade in a potatoe feild the other day when I was walking. Hope your riding out all these storms. Bob
