Has anyone ever used this for a bow or mybe arrows? My wife loves crape myrtles (I think she has about 50 now). She picked this one up this weekend.

Never heard of such a thing...
Seen some fine Crepe Myrtle bows, but don't know what the Osage part has to do with this! I'll be curious...

Looks like it grows straighter than most crepe myrtles i've seen. Give it a try!!!

There are over 50 different species of Crepe Myrtle so ill be it is just one of those species and named as such because of the color of its blooms.

The plant label says:
Lagerstroemia 'Osage'
That means it is a modern hybrid and the name of the hybrid (cultivar) is 'Osage'. It has nothing to do with the osage orange tree. It could just as well have been named Lagerstroemia 'PrimitiveArcher' or Lagerstroemia 'Obama'. It's just a name, nothing more than that.
