Ahhhh. there it is.  Palet bow huh? Go figure. You guys in bow wood desert are certainly resourceful.  I'm sure she will be thrilled with it. Glad I finally got to see it.
I'll be posting my most recent creation soon, its coming along nicely.   Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the elm.   Danny

There is medicine in the giving and medicine in the recipient. This bow is going places. Well done...now lets see some action shots.  ;)

Good to me, but is that arrow centered on the string? If it is, your bottom limb is a tad stiff and you might want to move the handle up.

I thought he was holding it vertically. Now I see that it is actually at an angle to vertical and it appeared to be stiff on the bottom limb.

I do actually agree that if the bow is straight up and down the outer third of the bottom limb is a tad stiff IMO.

With that front profile, I would say it needs to do a little more bending mid-limbs, both limbs.

Cool bow and really cool artwork.
At that weight you could say its not a weapon..its sportequipment...or just call it art  ;D

As a sidenote,Where i live bows of any weight is not classified as a weapon but sportequipment.
So i can walk in middle of the town with a nocked arrow and only be told "be careful not to poke anyone".
The downside is bowhunting isnt legal ...yet

You are just being a good ambassador to the indigenous people of the area working on building a good relationship between the government and the local tribe.

Very cool!

Is it destined to be "consecrated" for lack of a better term?

Even if just for decoration, I would feel extremely honored.
