Title: My ForresterWoodshafts won't break!
Post by: Forresterwoods on May 13, 2013, 07:59:45 pm: OK.....I test shot some arrows I made from Maple, Leopardwood, and red Balau with my 60# longbow and only 125 gr points. At 12 yards, I shattered granite but bounced my arrows off the cement block. Only damage to the arrows were blunt field points! My daughter will try to you tube it. So fun to do on mothers day.

My kid has a quiver 1/2 full of shortened cane shafts. ::)

I feel very evil... I took some 3 /16 steel rod and made myself some nasty crossbow darts. 4 inches long, soldered fletches...
I seriously doubt you can break those.
