Title: Red oak backed hickory Mollegabet.
Post by: ionicmuffin on May 11, 2013, 05:26:19 pm
Here's a red oak backed hickory Molle, I made this for a lady from church who wanted to gift it to her son. Draw weight is 25@24"  I imagine his draw will be about 20 inches atm so I think that he has some growing room. This project took almost no time at all. I was taking a break from breaking bows so i could gain some confidence back, well, its back, kind of... anyway, many thanks to my sister who also happens to have exactly a 24 inch draw. I'll get close ups when shes finished shooting the bow in.

I'd give the upper limb some scrapes in the fade area and inner limb...most of the bend in that limb is a few inches before the lever fade
