Title: I gotta come clean(fg bow)
Post by: HickoryBill on May 11, 2013, 03:50:55 pm: I was at a local flea market today and met a guy selling some of his custom fiberglass bows.This guy has been making custom glass bows for years on a small scale..We got to talking and I brought some of my selfbows to show off..And long story short he invited me to stop by his shop and build a glass bow...I accepted..( shocked I know) I just got back picking out riser wood,lams and glass.. I'm stopping by later and gluin her up....Man I feel kinda guilty..But at least its not a 'assembly line' bow...

Post by: dmc on May 14, 2013, 03:09:42 am: I'll use my wood only bows pretty much until mid November or so, until its too cold to safely pull back. (it can get freakin cold in Saskatchewn). Then I switch to my Bear Montana for the rest of the season. I don't even feel guilty. Hahaha

Then again, I just may hunt the crap outta it. Enjoy archery and enjoy hunting. Post some pics when your done with it turkey killer!
