Don't know if this is the right place for this, and if it's not please let me know where it would go, but here is my new toy that arrived in the mail today.

Just got my first draw knife a few weeks ago they sure make things allot easier, plus only paid $19 >:D 8)

That's a good looking knife.
I have several in different sizes but no adjustable handles. Would like to give one a try.
-
Nice. I like the color of the handles.
-
Is that an "antique" or can it be bought new? My drawknife is pants :( could do with a decent one.

I've gotten a couple of old ones off eBay.
I tried a new one from the big lumber yards and was junk. I prefer the old ones.
-
Yeah I saw a few at the local hardware stores and they looked nice, but I think this one is nicer, better made and much cheaper ever with shipping.

I Bought mine new about two years ago and it's not junk i haven't had one problem with it

Very nice! I have an old palmer brothers drawknife that I found at a pawn shop. It had the adjustable handles on it but I welded them in place because I couldnt get the nuts tight enough to not work their way loose while chasing rings. The one I have has the curved blade and its my go to knife for everything.
-
Ty, I really like it, and once the weather get's a bit nicer I will bet biting into that stave with it.

That's a sweet knife! I bought mine new, cost me $50. Its a 2 cherries brand from Germany and it seems to work good. Of course I don't have an old one to compare it to. When I get another one I'm gonna go for the curved blade. Mine is straight and it seems like a little curve might help some.
