After all the hard work many many broken Bows i finally made one worthy of being called a hunting bow it is 58" ntn 50# @ 28" sinew and rattle snake skin backed.

Hang on having picture posting problems

Reaching a drawlength of 28" with a length of only 58" is quite an achievement, even with sinew!
Looking forward to the pics. Upload pics directly to www.tinypic.com and copy-paste the [IMG ]-url into the message here.

the top limb looks like what i did with my first bow. its hinging as far as i can see, but since its finished its not worth redoing it. hows the flight pattern? is there a lot of hand shock? it seems like the limbs would be out of sync because of a mismatched tiller.
Either way, that's very impressive for your first hunter weight bow, and like darksoul said its an accomplishment to get that draw length out of that short a bow for your first even with sinew. nice job! keep making them!

Very nice, especially for a first bow. Wish my first looked that good!

Your workmanship is very good, tillering, well, sinew may keep it together in spite of the hinges.
Take a good look at your limbs, not much bending from the handle to mid limb on both limbs then lots and lots of bending.
I will send you a tillering gizmo if you want one. It will help you get the whole limb bending without hinges.
By the way, my first bow was a sinew backed osage bow made from an osage board. My tillering was so bad the bow blew after about 30 shots. Not even sinew could protect it from my sorry workmanship.
Another thing I do is wait on backing a bow with skins until I have it completely done, shot in(about 1000 shots) and am sure it will hold together.

I like the shape of the handle, and who doesn't like the look of skins? Nice job. Congrats.

Congrats on your first shooter. Enjoy this one and they will get better as you go.
