I found an old preform that I bought a couple of years ago at the bottom of a bucket. My lucky day. It turned out real nice and one of the coolest looking patterns I've seen. The other is a piece of TX rock that will turn into a father-in-law gift.

I believe it is brazilian agate. I want to say I've seen them in souvenir stores as well as momentos and trinkets. I know I saw the same rock for sale as trinkets while in a shop up at silver lake sand dunes in Michigan.
