Title: Jasper, Agate, and some TX rock.
Post by: Mark Anderson on April 28, 2013, 03:40:29 pm
I'm in bonny Scotland right now but I was able to get some material and my travel knapping kit in my checked luggage(I don't think security would half smiled any with me bringing an 15" ishi stick in my carry on!).
Well sat down in the kitchen this afternoon and was able to knock a few out.
Red jasper, some purple agate that I picked up in a shop here in Scotland, and some TX rock from Patrick. All heat treated last night.

Thanks Patrick. I set up my ishi to work like your indirect percussion and it was awesome! Thanks for the pointers.
