Title: What's the opposite of drought?
Post by: Stringman on April 18, 2013, 08:32:06 pm
We've had about 6" of rain in the last week and a half, but I was fortunate to get the corn planted just before it all got serious. Now the creeks coming out and I'm pretty sure there's more rain coming before the weekend. The ground is so saturated the worms are covering the sidewalks and garage floors. Oh well, at least the swimming hole is filling up!

After rains like that it's you can sometimes find artifacts in those fields and stream beds.  When it dries up a little that is...   :o

Yeah , it's been like that here too. (S.W.Ontario) I saw a duck walk by the other day and I swear I heard him say "What the %&*# is up with this weather?" On the bright side ,............... they are calling for snow on Saturday, for the spring cleanup at the local archery club. :o >:( :'(
