:o....It's the largest laminated recurve bow and arrow in the world. It is in the Comox Valley,BC, Canada , an archer builds a Bunyanesque bow and arrow 70 feet long. I think it was erected in 2009.
Not sure if some of you have seen it or not.?

Well that one leaves me scratching my head.
-
Wow, being strung up all that time and out in the weather, must be useless by now. What a shame. A guy could have gone satellite hunting with that bow.
-
No full draw pics? ;)
-
Must have been fun tillering that... :o
-
He used a 4x4 post on the belly to check his tiller
-
Looks like its leaned up on his tillering tree
-
I'll see it in july at the NALS.
Thanks Leroy

That's a lotta Tru Oil... :o

Seems like a waste, I wonder how many bows he could have made from that piece of wood you could shoot.
-
This kinda sparked a thought. Initially, I thought it would shoot an arrow for miles. Now I wonder, with an appropriatly heavy arrow, would it only go the distance a normal bow shoots? Or would its long draw make for a longer shot?

Wonder how many grns that broadhead is.

I think someone's thought of this idea before...
