Greg (badly bent) and I met up this afternoon at a local range to do some shooting. We both have our trade bows pretty well finished and brought them. We took turns shooting each others along we some other bows. My hick backed jatoba fell out of tiller while shooting it :'(, back to the shop with that one (that is what I get for making a board bow >:D). Greg's mulberry trade bow is a sweet shooter, zero shock and very forgiving. Someone will be very happy!!! He also gifted me 5 pipe straight black locust staves, a nice shed, some beaver for silencers and some shoots for arrows! A real generous guy to say the least. Here are some pics of the goodies and shooting each others trade bow.

Yeah Paul I enjoyed getting out and shooting with you. Was fun shooting your bows too and that trade bow of yours is real nice with
those nice curves and super thin tips.
I have to mention that Paul brought me more osage and hackberry on top of what he gifted me a few weeks ago, good trading all
around. Matter of fact we considered just trading our trade bows among ourselves but decided that wouldn't be fair to the two
folks we had actually drawn in the bow trade, :)

Sounds like a great afternoon. Got a couple of bow makin' friends comin' down end of the month to do the same. Hard to top.

Looks like fun and nice bend in both of those bows. :)

O.K. Blackhawk, I want to go on the record for saying that its only his bows that I find attractive, so I guess maybe its a
'bow-mance' :D :D :D

;D   ...good response Greg ;) ;D ....now we know the word for the definition of when your in love with another mans wood

There was the mention of beaver tradin', so it wasn't ALL about the wood.

;D ::) :o Now that was funny!!!!! A bit disturbing but still funny!!! >:D

I am glad I did not talk about how much of a better shot he is. I could only imagine where that would of gone...
