Title: what wood could this be?

Hi guys,
can you please take a look at this wood and let me know what you think. i got it in the form of a 7 foot log that was 10 round.I was told it was maple but i don't know if it is or what kind of maple. i posted a video for mor detail.

I'm not sure but if I could see the leaves I would know instantly. The wood it's self actually does look like maple but not sure on the bark.

Joe I do have limited exposure to wood in stave form but what I can find out that you are right, it is maple. Not sure what kind, sugar, vine.
