I was throwing knives the other day and one of sounded weird when it hit. I got closer and found out why...

I swear, I didn't sharpen the handle. Guess it proves how soft pine really is.
In case anyone wonders, the dark blob in the middle of the knife is a piece of bike inner tube. I doesn't seem to affect the flight characteristics, and deadens that PING noise when I miss and the knife bounces off.
