Title: What is a good length?

I have a 28" draw... I've been making my arrows a bit longer than what you would traditionaly buy in carbon.  But I'm making a new set of footed arrows and I'm looking at my materials and wondering if they will be long enough.

I'm at 30" on them. They feel short... but that could just be because i'm dropping from a longer shaft.

I'm footing an 8" section of wallnut onto a 26" piece of Linden and tapering the shafts at the nock end.

I shoot 30" arrows for my 26" draw.
  You have to remember store bought arrows are spined for 28" with a 125 gr point and for each inch over 28" you have to subtract 5# of spine weight(add spine weight for less than 28"). Any point heavier than 125gr will reduce the spine by 5# per additional 15gr or so(lighter increases spine weight). Depending on the weight of the footings that could change spine also.

I thought it felt a tad short.
