Title: looking for mesquite burls

hi guys, im looking for some mesquite wood, something with a nice grain/burl. for knife handles and pen turning.

Not sure what a burl is exactly, but I have lots of mesquite trees.

Burls are where the grain swirls around.  Ussually in the root area. I've got some coming but I'm always looking for cool woods for knife handles and pens.

Oh I love it to the point that is what I have for hardwood flooring in my house.. I am just getting started in making knifes I am going to make some for me first and then I may start trading and selling some.  I am going to go and cut some burls this weekend.  Glad you found some..
