this is that chert I posted a biface of while back- I cooked it a short time and it got peppery then made this

I did cook some twice as long, and it got really good color but I haven't worked on it much

  I do some drill carveing also. Is that what you used.
  Rhose are SWEETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT HANDLES.

these I didnt carve
I use dental high/low speed drills when I do
One was a  trade and Doug's I paid for

Supper work on ll of it. The tight scar pattern on the first one is sweet.
