Hey all,how do you guys square up your cauls?

I make mine more rounded than square  ;D

I cut mine on my bandsaw.  With the table square, the cut should be square.  Then I run the caul along my beltsander to get rid of the saw marks.

Screw another plank to the back side with the opposite bend. It will pull the two together and make a straight, square caul. Keep in mind what your doing with it. A little wave here or there means nothing. Straight end to end matters most.

Yeah,I don't have a band saw persay,only a hand held that I clamp to my work bench.that's a good idea P/D,thanks for that!
