Title: 3-3-1978 a date to remember
Post by: Pat B on March 03, 2013, 06:28:46 pm
Dig that crazy Kelly green, 3 piece, cordaroy suit. Man, I was the bomb.  8)
Myself, Marcia's Mom, my Mom, Marcia, Meredith and uncle Matt in the back ground... together on our wedding day. Holy crap, that was 35 years ago.  :o

Congrats PatB. My 30th will be in April. When we get together at the Classic we'll have to toast to our better halves for putting up with us this long. No doubt they
both deserve medals. :)

Thanks everyone. It has been a great trip. We both put up with a lot from each other.  ;D
Clint, that was the only time I wore that suit. You can tell it was a custom fit.  ::) and I had had my beard almost ten years when Marcia and I got married. She has never seen me without it...thank goodness!  ;D
 Sounds like a date David.

Congrats on your anniversary Mr. & Mrs. Pat B.  :)  (Kinda surprised to see the corduroy instead of a plaid leisure suit, you must have
been ahead of you time Pat) 8)

No leisure suits for me, Greg and definately not polyester or plaid.  ;)  Heck they were lucky to get me into a suit at all. My regular garb in those days were T shirts, shorts and leather sandles.  ;D

She had no choice. I already had it for 9 years when we met. Marcia knew what she was getting when she married me.  ;)

Lookin' good, Pat!  You haven't changed a bit!  Congrats on the 35th!  You should bring the little woman with you to the Classic this year.  Miss Heather would love to meet her.

Matt, Marcia probably won't make the Classic. She will, however enjoy her time at home alone working on her art.  ;) After 35 years a little "home alone" time seems more appropriate to her.
We each have our own things and we both have things we like to do together. That stratigy seems to have worked for us over the years.
