Hi all

I've been lurking and reading for a while, and thought it was time to say hello...
Been shooting bows since the age of 9, now trying re-start after a work-related hiatus.
I've recently caught the bow-making bug, due to acquiring a nice straight price of ash while felling some firewood.
The initial plan was to try making longbows, but reading around the subject led me here, among other places, and to the  TBB.
I make stuff as a hobby, so this isn't a great departure from the norm, it just requires a lot of patience and learning some new skills.
I'll post up some photos when the first bow is finished.
