Just wondering how many of you guys and gals are from canada and what part?maybe we could organise something like our good southern neighbors do.maybe this is a around the campfire theme ,but this were all the bow junkies hang out!

London Ontario. Sounds like this might be quite the commute for a get together!I believe I'm closer to Florida than I am to you.Maybe we could all go to Disney for March break ;D.There are 2 others in London and 1 in Parkhill and 1 in Sarnia that I know of.

Ok I may be dreaming bout a get together ,but we may be able to set up some trades and not have to deal with customs!yeah it's a big country but so is the. States!

Well I'm from Fredericton New Brunswick, so we've pretty much gone coast to coast. Anyone here from Nunavut? Then we'd have coast to coast to coast!

Not looking good for a get-together. Only 33 million people stretched out over the second largest country in the world, I guess we shouldn't be surprised   ;).

@ag68,slackbunny,being a fellow east coaster ,was wondering what type of wood u guys use?back in nova scotia I think it bow wood heaven compared to manitoba!I still own 13 acres of old growth hardwood back east...yellow birch,maple,ash and some other species,not sure what,but that was before I caught the wood virus !lol!

Hophornbeam is my favorite hands down. It seems to be noticeably more powerful. But I've also used hard maple and yellow birch with good results. I know a spot with some black cherry that I got my eye on as well. I'd like to get my hands on some ash too.

Surely with 13 acres to work with you'll have plenty of good stuff.

I was through there a couple of weeks ago ,coming back from up North (near   the Soo) with a few White Elm staves. Can't go home without  bringing back some goodies! Send me a PM with your info. We'll try to get something together this summer!
