Title: Finally Finished my Collection of repros
Post by: Ryan_Gill_HuntPrimitive on February 26, 2013, 07:37:30 pm: I finally got around to finishing my display of Florida Native points. all are made from FL native stone and made with abo tools and heat treated under fire..cept for the Pinellas that I got from a flake from Mullet...I reckon that one was done in a toaster... so I guess I have a ...... in the woodpile.lol here is what they are- Top Row left to right: Hillsborough made from colorful Hernando County chert, Newnan made from Premium Ocala chert, Osceola Greenbrier made from Citrus county cap chert.
Bottom row left to right: Bolen Plain made from colorful Citrus county Agatized Coral, Hernando made from Brooksville Ridge Chert, Gilchrist made from Citrus county chert, Marion made from Hernando county chert, Pinellas made from creamy Alafia river Coral.

Aslo love the tent set up. Did you make it? I've thought of trying someting like it with painters tarps and sealing with some home brew. Would be good for a drive up camp with the wife. I like to hang in hammoc and thin tarp over when alone. if you have drawings/plans or any info for it, that would be nice. Thanks,

Graylan- was nice meeting you guys too. I use an Overstreet guide for my research in points. Yeah I made the tent. it is out of drop cloths but this one is not sealed. with the rainfly on it keeps try even in a downpour. I had one that was sealed but I hated the smell and actually didn't repel any more water. I don't have any plans or anything, just started making. It is really simple and really complicated at the same time....lol
