Hey cousin? Not to put too fine a point on it, but ....
I want that freaking knife!!!
It would go nicely with the curly ash stocked .62 caliber flintlock I picked up last summer. I love the simple utilitarian design of this style blade. Good enough in the kitchen, good enough on the belt while trekking in the woods, good enough defending your point of view in a spirited back alley debate.
Can we make some kind of deal, cuz?

Holy Ginsu Batman! That there is one fine lookin' knife. Likely have to get in a long line to get a crack at that one!
-
Awesome knife, but I don't think we can take two halversons
-
Now that craftmanship.... Love to be able to do that.

Funny thing is that we've compared ancestors and have determined there is no relationship between us, other than shared passions for things like this. Good enough for me!

KHalverson knows how to work a drawknife, and build one too. Builds some nice selfbows from time to time. I'm sure JW is just as talented. I'm lucky to own 3 of KH's knifes and they hold an edge and look darn good too. Now, if you fellas could just teach him how to catch crappies! ;D
-
Not sure I could teach him much about catching crappies, but I can sure put on graduate level classes on how to eat 'em!
