Had the Tri Lam pulled to 20 inches on the tree today, not looking too bad. Has a 1/8th + tiller which is what my bow design seems to like.
-
Thats not looking bad at all. A little stiff mid way on the right. That cedar is going to smell great when you start sanding.
-
Looking good Roy - as usual! Really like the looks of that. Might have to add a trilam to the list of things to try.
-
Hope you hit your intended weight n draw...ehemm...55@28" ;)
-
Looks sharp Roy are you going to be able to pull it.
-
What are the woods? Very nice looking!
-
That is looking great Roy.
-
Boo, ERC, and Osage with East Indian Rosewood riser.
-
Very nice :)
-
Looks good. Nice wood combo. R/D tiller can be tricky. So far, so good. ;)
-
This is the most deflexed/reflexed bow I have built. Question here. I assume that a bow of this design at brace height, the mid limbs will look more flat than a bow that has no deflex or very little deflex?
-
Looks good. Gonna be fast I think.
-
That tiller looks great Roy. Bet that is going to be a sweet shooter as well as a beauty with the tri lam.
-
Looks good, Roy. It will be a fine bow. Jawge
-
I agree with every one else. Looks good! Sure it will turn out great!
-
Real nice Roy. I bet it will be a beauty when shes all dolled up. Danny

-
Looks like a mighty fine bow Roy.
-
Yeah, I guess it is ok for an ole coot. ;)
-
I made the bow for my wife, it's 66 tip to tip and 30 #'s at 25. She has a plate and 4 screws in her neck and can't pull a lot of weight. Can't wait to make another tri lam, they bend so nice and look great. Pretty quick shooter for 30 pounds though.
-
Looks great Roy. If your wife doesn't like it, I think we both know who will ;) Mr. Gunships ;D
-
WHAT!!!! You made a girly bow out of that? >:( guess clints right then
-
Clint & Chicken Hawk, I don't think the gunner boy could pull 30 pounds. But if she doesn't like it I'll spray it hot pink and ship it to Michigan. ;D >:D
-
Well it is done, doesn't look too bad.
-
It's OK, I guess
-
:)
-

-
Thats a beauty, she should love that, bet it will spit and arrow. :)

Wife showing the full draw profile for Pearly Boy:)
-
Not bad ;) Is there a power lam between the laminates? Markus.
-
Nope, just osage, cedar, and boo with East Indian Rosewood riser.
