Hi,  This forum limits vendor recommendations to sponsers of the parent magazine ( fair ' nough.)  Why don't you check the sponsors?  I believe 3Rivers carries one model, there may be others.  Otherwise any shaving horse ( also called shaving bench, bow bench or schnitzelbank) will work.  Many books /articles on traditional woodworking will show plans for homemade versions. If you buy or make a shaving horse, the most helpful modification is a to provide for a couple of pins at the end of the bench away from you to keep the stave from wiggling side to side.    Ron

If you do a search on this website you will find bow horse(shaving horse) that you can copy. There have been a few articles in past Primitive Archer Magazines with instructions on how to build them.  Pat

The Fall 2005 Issue of the Bowyer's Journal has a very well detailed plan on making a Bowyer's Bench. You can call and order that issue.

Hope this helps.
