Title: Another basic flatbow
Post by: adb on February 07, 2013, 07:33:30 pm: Just another one of my basic flatbows. Maple backed osage (my fav combo, by the way), 45#@28", with bloodwood accents. This one is a gift for a good friend. He has admired my bows for some time, and it'll be a surprise for him in March when I see him next.

I use a polyurathane finish. If I wipe it on, it's dull. If I brush it on, it's glossy.

Thanks, Ryan! Appreciate it. It's a toss-up between maple and hickory as my favourite backing. Maple is better looking, IMHO.
