Good morning from a snowy, icy Yosemite. Here is another project that is a first for me. It is an arm guard with my first attempt at any "extensive" leather work - got lots of learning to do!
-
That looks really nice to me.

Nice tooling Ben. Not bad at all for your first! 8) One little thing, if I may...get an edge beveler to round over those sharp edges, just like with bows. It won't lift a splinter ::) but it gives it a more finished look. ;)

I need an edge beveler then. Nice work on that arm guard. Your a regular leathersmith the last few weeks.

Looks very nice.

great work.love the arrows.how did you do them?
-
@ seabass - i drew them free hand on paper and then the pattern was too big so I used one arrow and crossed it. I used a swivel knife to cut it in and then went over the lines with the stylus.

thank you for the info.i like what you have done and am going to try this.thanks a bunch and keep at it.

Very nice! I've been venturing into the land of leather also. Just like bows, I'm starting to acquire more leather tools.
