thought maybe some of you might be interested in these
they are a variation on a patter i use for kneehigh mocs
the body is elkskin the soles are veg tanned cowhide and the footbed is pigskin
then they are painted with my own mixture of natural beeswax and neetsfoot oil
i then heat them in the oven for a while (helps the leather absorb the wax)

sorry guys no pattern i just modified the style if another pair i did
somtime back (also no pattern) and sort of winged it

sooo....????? Can you make something up (to the best of your recollection) that might look like what you are wearing on your feet? I am looking at a couple of different patterns I found on line for a new project to work on in the Museum here in Yosemite.

very nice. They are on my bucket list as I get better tanning. What material is the thread?
