We finally got together to shoot the niece and nephews Christmas bows I Built them. They opened them on Christmas eve but I forgot my camera :o They come up this weekend to visit and we went out this morning to shoot their new bows and I didn't forget the camera. ;)
The niece began a little apprehensive but after a few tries she was having a blast. The nephew has been shooting a little wheelie so he shot good to start. His bow is built ambidextrous because he shoots both ways equally as well. The one picture of him holding his empty bow smiling toward the target is when he is explaining how he hit the bulls eye. Apparently that is every place his arrow hits, he explains to his Dad and I that is where he was aiming. Even the arrow that past over the bails and hit the wood stack behind was a bulls eye that was wright where he was aiming. I think maybe I've taught him well >:D The toughest lesson for the niece was learning not to run with the arrow point up, down hill, in the snow. :o She said she wanted to hurry so she could shoot again 8) she's hooked. It was a little chilly 20 degrees and them being kids were less bothered by the temp than I so needless to say I used the need to post their pics as an excuse to go to the house after about 40 min. of out door fun. Can't let the young ones think I'm week you know. >:D

Del what a great plan, I'm ashamed I did'nt come up with such a great idea. This is realy thinking outside the box or in this case cube shaped boring targets. O.K. settled tomorrow the snow man dies >:D I mean we shal put him out of his missery so he don't have to suffer the inevitable doom of melting O:)
Carson thanks and ya they had fun
