Any of you knife makers need brass? I have a slab that is 23" x 4" x1/2" thick if anyone is interested. It has some bolt holes and some shallow grooves on one side, but plenty of good, usable brass here

where in the world did you find a piece of brass that big?

I see you live in Jackson TN. Are you coming to the Classic,I may be interested but would hate to ship that.I work for Det. [Miller/Coors] in Nashville and we also own the dist. in Jackson.We are in that area 3/4 times a week.Let me know.Maybe we can work something out and save shipping. Got plenty of draw knives and scrappers.  ;) :)

Hey guys. The piece of brass came off of a piece of die casting equipment. Pappy, I'm from Jacksboro, not Jackson. On the other end of the state (north of Knoxville). I'm working a trade already. I'll keep my eye out for more and bring it to the Classic.
