Hey Guys,
I recently got a nice little knapping kit from bubby and went to work on my first point. It is obsidian made from a preform that Bub sent me. Turned out pretty nice I think. Its weighs just under 100 grains. As you can see from the last shot it is razor sharp too. No doubt it would take a deer. Thanks again Bub for the kit!

Thanks guys... Adam that bandage is from where I sliced my finger to the bone with a hacksaw when a handle I was notching out slipped from my vice. Only 7 stitches. ;D ;D Hope to make many more points to come.

That looks great! Especially for a first point

Great first point. Now put that rock away somewhere real safe and don't touch it again for 3 years! You will be amazed at your progress. I still have my second point, but not my first.
