Heres bow number 4...im doing this outta order so don't feel like ya missed #2 and #3...lol. save the best for last ;)
This is another fine specimen of Pennsylvania Yew made into a 76"ntn Andaman-Holmgaard,and its a replica of Tims mojam pecan winner made in yew. Except that my handle is much deeper and has a shelf cut in. 16" of the center of the bow is stiff and has an extended long riser section. 1 3/8" wide at fades and sweeping down to 1/4" nocks,7/8" wide handle, only weighs 20 ounces, and its 45@28". A wonderful target shooter,it is smoooooooooth, stable, fast, and a pleasant release. I hope all you yew guys dont bash me too much for turning such a long one piece yew stave into a pea shooter >:D It has a half inch follow right after unstringing and goes back to a hair of reflex at rest. The unbraced pic looks wonkier than it really is cus im tilting it,sorry. This bow was one of those it builds itself type builds, and no problems or issues, and was a breeze. I don't think I even have 6 hours total into this one. I floor tillered it and strung it up and it was perfect(no joke or bsing),all I had to do was sand her up a lil to exercise her out to full draw, and when I got there I was right on target with my weight. I love those kind of builds. Anyways...here she is

Yup, I'll bet she's got the smoothness of an ELB and the speed of the flatter designs.
Good looking bow, bet she's got a good safety factor there too.

That is just gorgeous. Awesome job.
-
Beautiful bow, I really like the grain pattern in the handle.
-
I'm not sure what "Pennsylvania Yew" is, ...but that is a beautiful bow! To be so long as that and have that little mass, ...it must be extremely smooth to shoot!

That baby is loooooong .... and skinny too. Just says smooth shooter. I like how you build all these different designs and still get great
tillers when switching from one style to the next. Nice one Chris.

I would really love to take that 1 down to the range just to see the look on the wheelie Bowes faces when you whip out that monster and take them to task >:D

That's a beauty Chris! The design is definitely a little off the beaten path. I don't think anyone can ever accuse you of making cookie cutter bows! I hope you do bring it to the classic. I want to eyeball that one a little closer. Josh
