Made a nice wide point an decided to punch notch this one, got both notches totally done, nice even depth an lookin good, ;D One barb was a little wider than the other so I thought I'll run a series of light flakes up the wide side, I was going really easy an careful but side pressure was to much for a thin barb :o :o Hey it's only a rock an I was happy to get thru the actual notching with out breaking. I had a nice deep notched point for about 30 seconds. Oh well back to the pit. Later Bob

Super glue. :P Who's gonna know? ;D
-
Yep. Super glue. Its' not just for stopping blood anymore.

Just a rock. That's what I tell myself everytime I break one that far along. I don't think I believe myself yet. It still hurts when that happens.

What a bummer bob :(. I Wouldnt shy away from the glue idea for a nice display, got a few of those myself. Darn nice point there!
-
Yep, we've all done that. Nothing like sharing your frustratins in a knappers anonymous group to help yourself feel better. ;)

Hey Bob, for future reference, put the point down on a hard surface like a block of wood and bevel your flakes almost straight down. That should save your deep notches.

Thanks Bill ;D
