Title: Looking for a stave to make a recurve

The title says it all, for trade i have rock, small possible bags, and some arrow shaft material.

Not sure a friend wants me to help him build a recurve so something durable like osage i guess. What do you have

I've got quite a bit of different stuff, not much osage though.  I've got red oak, white oak, possibly dogwood, lots of hackberry, probably some Hophornbeam.  Also have some walnut, not sure if it'd be great for a recurve though.  I might have some 'sage that would work in the shed, but I'd have to check and currently there is 12-15 inches of snow in front of the door.  Oh I also have some honey locust,  not sure how well it works though as I've yet to try it.  Other then that I'd have to go inventory my stash.  Let me know what you'd like if I listed it and if you're looking for something else I can give it a look tomorrow some time.
