Title: holiday bow gifting...
Post by: sadiejane on December 25, 2012, 11:47:31 am
first off, i didnt make this bow, it was gifted to me by our own bow master half eye
have a younger int he family who has been wanting a bow
he made it very clear he did not want a compound, he wanted a "real" bow
his pops was having a hard time finding anything other in the area hunting/archery shops
so i decided to give up one of the sweet bows half eye sent me

joey is a natural archer, he had it down quickly
and he LOVES this bow half eye!!
he ran in later in the day(he spent every possible moment outside shooting that bow)
he wanted me to see he "almost" shot a robin hood

thanks rich for making it possible for me to make this young man so happy!

Sadie, it is all in the spirit of the season. Just like Rich gifting the bow to you, you passed it on as a gift to a young archer. I'm sure Rich would be pleased with your spirit of gifting.
  Happy Holidays to you!

I can see it now...an archeological dig site (in the future one day) comes across one of the many Half Eye bows gifted to others.  ;) Nice idea, Sadie. You're right...he does look like a natural!! :)

Many Native American tribes measure a person'w wealth by what all they give away.  There's a reason why they call Half Eye "Rich"!

Sadie, looks like you held on to that bow until the exact right moment.  Way to go!
