Title: snake bit
Post by: soy on December 24, 2012, 11:16:04 pm
For a spell there I wasn't able to make a boat without breaking it , and I felt that I was a bit snake bit... and it looks like this bow was bit by a snake... so what a fitting name for the first 1 completed in awhile it is 66 inches ntn 65 pounds at 28 inches.cocobolo tip overlays , and a deer hoof arrow pass... also included 6 arrows with snakeskin cresting.... this 1 has humps turns dips and prop twist and includes quite the array of pinthe knot clusters and a few cracks coming out of the handle and the fades... please bare with the slow picture posting I have a few drops tonight and then some distance between them.

Well thank you :D
Say I was wondering does anyone else get a bad case of the second guesses when the new owner comes to pick up the new finished bow?
For no reason today I've got to second guessing myself Did I do this, did I forget that is this person going to enjoy it the way I've made it...
Forgot the grain shot

Your not the only one Soy. You put your heart and soul into a thing of beauty like that and you can't help but wonder if they really understand what they're getting. For my part, that bow looks awesome, you done good sir!

BTW should I recognize those rats? Man, they look good on that bow!!

Really nice job.  I don't think I could ever sell bows, because the second-guessing thing would bother me too much
