On this particular bow I really tried to do my best.
Before it gets shipped I thought I would post some pics.
60" NTN
50#@27" tillered to 28"
Black Leather Dye.
6 Coats Tru Oil.
Cotton Thead Wrapped Tips.
John Strunk Handle.

Great looking bow, Looks to me like vine maple can go fairly skinny from the pic with your thumb in it. Does the cotton wrap help stiffen the tips, or is it decoration?

Just decoration. I was watching Brave, and I saw her bow had wrapped tips ...... So I did it :)

Haha pinecone the moment i saw the full shot of the bow i was like did Gordon secretly send this to Bryce? Seriously awesome bow. I would never have the patience to wrap the tips like that. It's hard enough for me to take the time to glue and wrap a splinter down. ::)
It's weird, i haven't had any luck with VM EXCEPT for my very first bow which is still shooting even under horrible tillering.... wth???

Yeah I took my time with each end (about 1.5hrs ea.)
What's the weight on your VM 80#+ ?
