This is a bit technical I know but my mind wants to wonder about it.The percentage of moisture loss in a roughed out bow as it's drying compared to its beginning weight increases the woods strength a certain percentage.I've read it somewhere but can't seem to find the info again.I'm sure it was something Tim Baker said.I hope I explained this question correctly.

I know every moisture point loss increases the woods strength 6%.

I think it may depend on the wood? Anyway, I like hickory 6-8% and all other woofs 8-10%. Jawge

Yea diddo on the hickory George but I remember it being a general type assumtion on all wood.But you may be right each wood could be different.
