Here's a point I started last week and finished this afternoon. Thought you'd appreciate it as it's made from quartz. The quartz was given to me by a friend who was a dealer at our local gem & mineral show (Columbia SC). He called it snow quartz from Uraguay and it's mostly clear with snow white inclusions. He bought it from a company that was slabbing it and making counter tops - the company was going out of business. I took a billet and knocked several large flakes from it, smiled and told him thank you. Photo doesn't show the flaking patterns very well. Rick B
