Title: Mesquite blanks
Post by: Tortoise on November 26, 2012, 11:34:22 pm
I have three rough mesquite blanks for bow or knife handles (or anything else). Each are around 7" long, but aren't flat. I suggest a belt sander to flatten them if you're gonna glue them up to a bow, I don't have one.

They have little knots in them that look nice. My only concern with them is that there is a little crack right in the center, however it looks like you can work around it. [will post pics]. Also have cholla & burlap to trade.

Looking for tru-oil, farriers rasp, or some chert that is beginner friendly. I will take anything though.

Also any blacksmithing supplies would be my first priority.
