made from s-30v stainless , 4" blade--4' handle , the Handel is a Korean war era .50cal fired casing, used by my uncle when he was there during the war.blade is a commercial , so this is far from a true custom just thought id share. but i like the handle of the knife for the personal history.(http://i51.tinypic.com/2q86d03.jpg)

What a cool idea! Did you epoxy the blade into the shell?

yes filled it with wood filler first and made a cavity for the tang and let that dry then used cutlers epoxy on the tang no way will it turn loose.
