Yep! It was a real good time, even with half a dozen broken arrows a broken dart and some broken points(almost all of it broke by me :-[).  Jack is a natural with the atlatl.  I will have to make him a setup more suited to his size.  Thanks for the hospitality!  I thoroughly enjoyed it.  Josh

Soybeans and Gun Dorc together?  Oh this couldn't have been good.  That poor child will have dreams of this day for years to come.  Poor little feller, forever bent.  No hope but to give him a drawknife and a copper bopper for Christmas now.

Hey guys, don't wanna intrude, but I'm not too far away from you here in Pottawatomie County, KS. A good friend of mine who lives a few miles away grew up near Concordia and has family there. My kids and I are pretty new to archery, I took my first deer with a bow (laminated recurve/hickory arrow) about a month ago. I have some osage staves drying on the back porch right now. They should be ready to work in about a month. Anyhow, maybe we could make connections sometime, do some shooting or hunting.

GUN DORC!!! >:(  hey!  I resemble that remark! ;D

Ben- that sounds cool, but I have to tell you, I don't know when that could happen I drive a truck and I am seldom home.  In the last couple months I've been by Soy's place in Mn more times than I've been in Ks.  We'll figure something out though.  I would recommend the Mojam in Marshall Mo next July.  You would meet quite a few people from this board there and its a great time.   Josh

Ah, I see. I saw that you're from Concordia and from the way Soy said you just stopped by I figured he must live down the street or something. Anyhow, enjoy, and we'll cross paths sometime.
