Made this for my 7 year old, Maya. Used a cant that I had cut off the side of a decent piece of elm, which is currently getting shaped into a 66" pyramid style......... anyways, back to the girly bow. 48" ntn, I can pull it to 28" without it blowing! Backed it with a snazzy piece of Christmassy sparkly stuff. A few air pockets under the ribbon, but what the heck.
Built my first string for this one; 3 pieces of sisal spun seperately with a cordless drill, for 5 seconds. Then put them together and spun the opposite way for 5 seconds, then waxed........looks pretty good to me!
