Title: natural material for arrows in florida

I have lots of ornamental bamboo in my yard. can this be used for arrows? (target) or is there someting that grows in central fl that could work better?

Most bamboo works. If you live near White Springs and the Stephen Foster Memorial the whole town is covered in Jap Arrow Bamboo. You can also use Gall Berry bushes for arrows.
