Title: Yew Selfbow pictures

This is the bow I killed the buck with yesterday.  It's 42# @ 27.5"  Two billets glued up and backed in beef rawhide.

Very nice bow and congrats on your deer.Like the color on your rawhide too.What did you do to get that color?Some kind of stain?

Beautiful bow with graceful lines , nice finish and a smooth looking tiller too. Very nice bow Ranger.

Beadman - I didn't do anything to the rawhide.  It's cowhide but you can slightly see the hair follicles in the hide and it's just that color.  I really like the color but that is thick stuff.  I feared that it would slow the limbs down due to the mass weight but it shoots nice.
