Title: Plant I.D. help
Post by: raghorns on September 07, 2012, 08:33:15 pm
This huge plant is in the little town close to where we live...it is at least 10 feet high and beginning to dry at the base...it looks like it would make some great atlatl darts.

It must need to be cut down for winter? If it is of any value, I will speak with the owner.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Lyle

It probably would but I don't know how durable the darts would be. I have never used giant reed grass for arrows or darts.
