Title: turkey fan mount
Post by: beetlebailey1977 on September 03, 2012, 05:07:42 pm
I did this turkey fan mount for my brother.....this was his first bird ever.  I called it in for him, and boy did he put on a show for us.  He was 16# with a 10" beard and 7/8" spurs.  An hour later I killed mine sitting in the same spot.  It was a good morning.

Beautiful job, is the turkey art work burned into the wood? Always cherish moments like the one you and your brother had.

Yep I burned it into the wood.  The wood is Cypress.  Yes we had an awesome morning.

That's a good looking job, James, and congratulations to your brother on his First bird.
