Post by: hunterbob on September 02, 2012, 03:32:23 pm
I just made this one here it is drawen back to 25 or 26 inches . looks pretty good but I think I need to get it bending a tad more at the tip on the top limb and maybe coming out of the fad on the top limb.what do you guys think?

Looks to me like the middle and outer third need to bend more on the right side, at least the middle third anyway.  I wouldn't touch the fade area until the middle was doing more.  Compare it to the left (which looks pretty good), and you'll see the right is bending mostly in the first third of the limb.

Yea that is what I got from the picture also. I only removed wood from the center of the top limb I will get more pictures up later . she turned out 68" 57 to 60 #@28" and really spits an arrow. And in person the dark spots on the limb are not that dark . it is were there is some knots.

It looks better.  It's hard to tell in the pic, but it looks like  there's still some midlimb stiffness on the top limb, and the bottom looks stiffer than the top?
